Vacature Lead Electrical Design Engineer
Currently Focus Engineering is looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer for an internal engineering firm at a plant-owner active in the chemical industry in the region of Rotterdam.
This concerns a permanent employment vacancy.
This company is one of the world’s largest producer of renewable diesel and renewable jet fuel refined from waste, introducing renewable solutions also to the polymers and chemicals industries. They are also a technologically advanced refiner of high-quality oil products, exploring ways to start using waste plastics as a raw material to produce new plastics. Due to the increasing demand of renewable energy the company is looking for a lead electrical engineer to strengthen the team.
The Job: Lead Electrical Design Engineer
- You will lead a team of electrical engineers and designers
- You will be responsible for the designing and engineering of power distribution, substations, field electrification, electric heat tracing,
- You are responsible for the basic and detail design and engineering for electrical engineering projects
- You will be responsible for the safety, quality, planning within the electrical projects
- You will collaborate with other disciplines within the company
- You will be responsible for managing suppliers and contractors
- You will be responsible for making electrical engineering documents and procedures
- You will participate in execution planning and cost estimates
About You:
- You have a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
- You have preferably 5+ years of experience in the process industry
- You have experience with the Dutch safety regulations within the Electrical Engineering
- You have experience with managing and informing different stakeholders
- You can speak and write fluent English
