Senior Electrical Engineer (Project for 18 months) Job

This concerns a vacancy for a project of 18 months.

For this position you will work at a plant-owner that has been active in the gas and chemical industry for over 75 years. The company operates worldwide and has clients within the food, energy, pharmaceutical and transport sectors.

Within the role as Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for a wide range of technically challenging projects and you will be working with colleagues from Global Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology and Equipment group. A small element of travel to customer sites may be form part of the role.

The Job: Senior Electrical Engineer (Project for 18 months)

• You are responsible for assigning tasks to the Electrical Design teams, providing supervision and technical expertise to ensure delivery against time and quality
• You provide technical input to the ongoing development of the electrical design standards
• You work together with existing suppliers and outsourcing partners and besides this you look for additional partners to add value to the company and the Electrical Projects
• You define the Electrical Engineering scope and monitor the performance
• You develop the engineering processes based on lessons learned

About you:

• You have an Electrical Engineering degree
• You have proven experience in electrical power engineering in a design function within the process design industry
• You have preferably experience in specification and procurement of low, medium and high voltage Switchgear, Power transformers and Power electronics
• You have some experience with software packages for analysis of power systems (e.g. SKM Powertools or ETAP)
