Vacature Electrical Project Manager – Hydrogen Plants

The company is a system integrator of green hydrogen systems. They use electrolysis technology,  design, supply, and maintain systems that enables the clean energy transition. This company operates under the parent company that is the leading provider of clean hydrogen and zero-emission fuel cell solutions that are both cost-effective and reliable.  

For this team, the company is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager for the concept development team. This team prepares conceptual designs for large and very large green hydrogen generation plants (typically over 100MW installed electrolysis capacity / 45 tons of green hydrogen production per day). The plant’s conceptual design will be described in the “Green Book” and its deliverables. Based on the Green Book, the Concept Development Team prepares a commercial offering based on licensing and supply of the electrolysis technology. This offering will allow the plants’ Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor to build and deliver the green hydrogen plant based on the companies designs and technology. The scope of supply range from 50M EUR to over 500M EUR. 

The Job:

• You translate the client’s project drivers and translate these drivers to a conceptual plant design
• You supervise and coordinate a whole Electrical project, from the design to commissioning phase
• You will take care of purchasing and monitors the whole process
• You are in contact with the electrical engineering team and with clients and suppliers
• You are responsible for the entire project: budget, quality and planning
• You are the contact point regarding all the Electrical Engineering
• You guide a team of electrical engineers and designers within the different offices throughout the world
• You develop, together with team members, the templates, tools and processes to create project-specific Concept Designs / Green Books, structures the available engineering knowledge

About you:

• You have a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or similar
• You have proven experience as a Project Manager
• You have experience in the process industry
• You have the willingness to travel for client meetings if and where required
• You are interested in pioneering in a rapidly developing industry and is self-driven, intrinsically motivated and committed to enable to clean energy transition

We offer:

• A salary of €5.400-€7.500 based on 40 hours/week
• This position is for 32-40 hours per week
• Flexible working hours and working from home; you will be given ample responsibility ánd freedom to organize your work in line with your priorities and private life
• Lots of freedom, independence and responsibility in your job while working Agile/Scrum in self-organizing teams
