Vacature Control System and Instrumentation Engineer

This concerns a permanent contract vacancy, in Amsterdam.

The Job: Control System and Instrumentation Engineer

• You are responsible for all the projects phases, from FEED studies commissioning of the DCS en Safeguarding sytems of Yokogawa, Foxboro, Honeywell, Emerson, Siemens and Hima
• You are responsible for translating the project definition into an engineering specification to upgrade the existing Control System and Instrumentation,
• You are responsible for the development of the P&ID and Control Systems , this involves writing small IO extentions, legacy control system migration plans, safeguarding narratives, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, fiber optic, fieldbus and profibus
• You are responsible for the complete cycle of writing/reviewing control system specifications that are in line with the clients requirements.
• You are responsible for the communication with the vendors, purchasing, supplier drawing review and participation in HAZOP/SIL/ LOPA sessions and performing functional safety studies. You actively engage in final business negotiations with selected suppliers and other stakeholders .
• You are responsible for the commissioning and test engineering (FAT/SAT)
• You will be responsible for supervision and organizing the controls, automation & instrumentation engineering and construction activities
• You are responsible for aligning various Engineering disciplines within the organization

About You:

• Bachelor degree in a relevant technical engineering discipline such as Industrial Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years  proven experience as an Automation Engineer
• Experience  and knowlede of field instrumentation and Functional safety
• Experience with DCS and Safety systems.
• Good communication skills
• Willing to travel
• Fluent in Dutch and English
